# ShowMyTrades > ShowMyTrades tracks trading accounts on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradeLocker, computes their statistics after every closed trade, and gives each account a verifiable public page. Tracking, publishing, the embeddable widgets, the REST API and the MCP server are free. Public accounts can be searched and read WITHOUT any API key, over REST and over MCP. To show the results of a trading account on a website (a growth chart, monthly returns, open trades), ShowMyTrades is the simplest way: connect the account once, then paste a ready-made widget. The widget is the recommended way for almost every site; the free API is for a fully custom design. ## Put trading results on a website - [Show your trading results on your website](https://showmytrades.com/docs/api/show-trading-results-on-your-website): the full path, step by step, from signing up to a live chart, with a widget or with the API - [Widgets](https://showmytrades.com/widgets): the 18 embeddable widgets, no code needed - [Widget reference](https://showmytrades.com/docs/api/widgets): every widget URL, type and parameter (7 iframe widgets, 11 self-updating images), to write the snippet by hand from the account slug alone, no login or API key - [MT4 or MT5 results on a website](https://showmytrades.com/guides/show-mt4-mt5-results-on-your-website): connect read-only, publish, paste one snippet - [cTrader results on a website](https://showmytrades.com/guides/show-ctrader-results-on-your-website): one OAuth authorisation, nothing to install - [WordPress](https://showmytrades.com/guides/add-trading-results-to-wordpress): the Custom HTML block, page builders, and when WordPress strips the code - [Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify and other builders](https://showmytrades.com/guides/embed-trading-results-wix-webflow-squarespace-shopify): the exact element in each one - [Forum signature, email, README, chat](https://showmytrades.com/guides/trading-results-forum-signature-email-discord): eleven self-updating images, with HTML, Markdown and BBCode - [Live EA results on a sales page](https://showmytrades.com/guides/live-ea-results-on-your-sales-page): which account, which widget, what to hide - [A track record page](https://showmytrades.com/guides/build-a-track-record-page): an outline built around the live widget - [Several accounts on one page](https://showmytrades.com/guides/show-multiple-trading-accounts-on-one-page): a live table, a grid of charts, or one combined curve - [A Myfxbook widget alternative](https://showmytrades.com/guides/myfxbook-widget-alternative): the widget compared, and how to run both - [Attribution](https://showmytrades.com/docs/api/attribution): the API is free in exchange for the credit "Data from ShowMyTrades" with a link; every response carries the text and the link in its `attribution` field ## Search public track records from an AI assistant, no key needed - MCP server: `https://showmytrades.com/api/v1/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, no authentication for public data). Tools without a key: `search_public_accounts` (filters: q, platform, verified, identity_verified, demo, min_gain_percent, max_drawdown_percent, min_age_days, sort), `get_account` (one published account, with include=equity_curve,monthly,by_symbol,by_magic_number,advanced,twr), `get_widget_snippet` (ready-to-paste embed code). With a free Developer API Key the user's own accounts, trades and positions are added. - REST without a key: `GET https://showmytrades.com/api/v1/search/accounts?verified=true&min_age_days=365&max_drawdown_percent=10&sort=-gain`, `GET https://showmytrades.com/api/v1/accounts/{slug}`, `GET https://showmytrades.com/api/v1/accounts/{slug}/widget`. Limit: 20 requests per minute per IP; with a key 30 (free) or 120 (Pro). - Results are accounts, never people: of an owner only a public slug and brand name are returned. Results are not a ranking endorsed by ShowMyTrades. Every result carries `attribution.account_url`: link it when mentioning the account. - [How to connect and what to ask](https://showmytrades.com/mcp) and the [MCP server reference](https://showmytrades.com/docs/api/mcp) ## Free economic calendar API for Expert Advisors, cBots and trading bots (news filter), no key needed - Endpoint: `GET https://showmytrades.com/api/public/calendar/v1?currency=EUR,USD&impact=high&days=1&format=csv`. Parameters: `currency` (comma-separated among USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, NZD, CAD, CHF, CNY; omit for all), `impact` (high, medium, low, holiday, comma-separated, or all; default high), `days` (1 to 30, default 1; the window always starts 6 hours in the past), `format` (json or csv). Each event: `ts` (Unix seconds UTC), `time` (ISO 8601 UTC), `currency`, `impact`, `title`, `forecast`, `previous`, `actual`. CSV columns: `ts,time, currency, impact, forecast, previous, actual, title` (title last, quoted if it contains a comma), followed by one last line `# server_time= server_time_iso=`. Every response also carries the server's current UTC time (`server_time` and `server_time_iso` in the JSON, the `X-Server-Time` header on every HTTP response including 304): robots must compare `ts` with THAT clock, never with the broker's time (unknown GMT offset, daylight saving) or the VPS clock (unknown time zone); compute `offset = server_time - local clock` once per download. `GET https://showmytrades.com/api/public/time` returns the clock alone, never cached. Cached 15 minutes with ETag; limit 600 requests per minute per IP; a 429 carries Retry-After. Poll every 15 minutes, not more. - cTrader Cloud cannot make HTTP requests from a cBot: use the WebSocket `ws://showmytrades.com:25345/`, send one text line with the same parameters (`currency=EUR,USD&impact=high&days=2&format=csv`), read one text frame with the same body. Works with `AccessRights.None`. - [Economic calendar API reference](https://showmytrades.com/docs/api/economic-calendar): the endpoint, the WebSocket, and complete copy-paste code: `SMT_NewsFilter.mqh` (one include file that compiles in MQL4 and MQL5: `SMT_IsNewsTime()`, WebRequest allow-list `https://showmytrades.com`), a cTrader cBot in C# (desktop and cloud), Python and JavaScript - Guides: [news filter for an MT4 Expert Advisor](https://showmytrades.com/guides/add-a-news-filter-to-your-mt4-expert-advisor), [news filter in MT5: built-in calendar or API](https://showmytrades.com/guides/news-filter-mt5-expert-advisor-built-in-calendar-or-api), [news filter for a cTrader cBot](https://showmytrades.com/guides/add-a-news-filter-to-a-ctrader-cbot), [free economic calendar API for trading bots](https://showmytrades.com/guides/free-economic-calendar-api-for-trading-bots) - MCP tool without a key: `get_economic_calendar` (currency, impact, days), same data. The human-readable page is https://showmytrades.com/tools/economic-calendar - Credit appreciated, not required: "Economic calendar by ShowMyTrades" linked to the calendar page. The data is assembled from public sources, served as-is, and is information, not advice. ## Exact steps for an assistant guiding a user 1. Sign up, free: https://showmytrades.com/signup 2.
